Since the Liberdade project started in 2003 we have amassed much experience. Here are some of the things we have got upto.

We have:

• successfully completed a 2 year ESF funded programme that included devising and delivering training packages to learning disabled social enterprises in the north east including The Flex, New Vision, and The Music sparks.

• co-ordinated and delivered summer schools around, Enterprise skills, Exercise diet and fitness and physical theatre to over 100 participants.

• delivered learning disability awareness training to The Sage Gateshead and The University of Northumbria.

• trained Art organisations, in drama facilitation techniques.

• worked with the Keyfund to develop accessible training methods for their facilitators training package.

• helped set up a number of learning disabled community groups.

• been booked to perform all four of our shows by, Tin Productions, The Music Sparks, Pathways, South Tyneside womens health, Tyne and wear care alliance, Comecon, The Equal initiative and Dryden School.

Commissions

• We were commissioned by the English Federation of Disability Sport to produce a performance for their annual conference around access to physical activity for disabled hard to reach groups.

• We were commissioned to produce a performance of the play `The Audition` for North Tyneside Council.

• We were commissioned to film the Audition by the Tyne and wear Care Alliance.

• We were commissioned by the equal initiative to design a piece of invisible theatre for their annual conference, this was to highlight inequalities in the work place.
