The Yip Yap Amigo's
Set up in 2007 with a learning disabled resident of the west end of Newcastle the group is made up of people with a diverse range of abilities.
Artistic work
From imaginary tales to classic stories. The Yip Yaps explore different artistic mediums utilising film, shadow puppetry, music and dance.
Social interaction
The primary focus of the group. Achievable in many ways. Includes adapted bicycles, trampolining and speed boats.
Experience
Opportunities to work with incredibly talented local artists from puppetteers to singer songwriters.
